Video Tutorial - Stuff In A Jar

Oh, yeah!!  It's Wednesday . . . I've got a video for you!
Last year, our 4-H club sold Meals In A Jar at craft shows/bazaars.  They were a huge hit!  We sold out in no time.  So many people were asking about them again this year.
These are a couple of S'Mores In A Jar.  You can change these up for any holiday or occasion.  Very versatile - not to mention, tasty!  Talk about a great gift-giving idea.
Here is a picture of the Halloween one up closer.  In this jar are the Cotton Candy White Chocolate M&Ms.  That will sure make for a different-tasting S'More, won't it?
What a cutie this little guy is!  Love that Googly Eye . . .
Here's a closer view of just the "Fall" jar.  You can see that doing the ribbon with a bow or just a knot is up to you.  You can use material on the top of the jar or not.  I prefer it simple - lots of people prefer material.
Isn't that pretty?  The layers look fantastic.  Anyone would LOVE to get this as a present - even as a thank-you for that certain someone hosting a holiday party or get-together.  Think Hostess gift.  Lots of possibilities.
You can see that you're limited only by your imagination.

Recipe - 1-1/2 cups graham crackers, crushed and put into the bottom of a clean 1 quart mason jar; Add marshmallows all around (use seasonal marshmallows for fun), layer 1/3 cup of brown sugar into the center of the marshmallows.  Top with chocolate chips or seasonal M&Ms.

Directions to make the S'Mores -
Empty jar into large bowl.  Remove marshmallows and combine remaining ingredients, mixing well.  Snip marshmallows into small pieces with scissors. Return to bowl; stir into dry mix. Melt 1/2 cup butter, and add melted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/3 cup milk to bowl. Mix well. Press lightly into greased 9 x 9 pan. Bake at 350o for 15 minutes.

Have fun!
