Truly A Challenge

Do you look at a challenge you're given sometimes
and find it to be truly a challenge?

That's how I felt with the Create With Connie
and Mary color challenge.  As soon as I saw it,
I thought, "Oh, okay.  I can do this one" and
began to gather all my supplies.

And then after beginning my crafting, I had the
darndest time figuring out how to get the
Watermelon Wonder into the mix.  I finally figured
it out by sponge daubing a sweet little flower edge
in the bright, springy color.
I made a few of the cards, and decorated the inside, too.
Hope you're able to take the time to get
inky today ~ Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Julia I just love how you used predominantly Mossy meadow for your card and incorporated that piece of Botanicals DSP, then added just a hint of each of the other colours to complete your beautiful clean and simple cards. Thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!

  2. Hi neighbor - it's great to see a familiar name! What a lovely layout, and I love the minimal use of Watermelon Wonder - it makes the the flower so eyecatching and sweet! Thank you for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary!
