Springy Flower Patch

In the mood to see a springy Flower Patch?  I created one today using the Flower Patch stamp set.
The Pals Paper Arts challenge presented the springlike colors, and the As You See It Challenge had a crazy, inspiring, fun layout.
I had to start over with this card four times.  The first time, the flowers just wouldn't work - I was using Blushing Bride and So Saffron both for the flowers, and something was just "off".  The second time, I was attempting to have the base of the card be the So Saffron yellow.  It just didn't work either.  and so on and so on.  Do you do that sometimes - start with one idea and end up with something very different at the end?

No worries - getting out of the comfort zone helps you grow creatively.  Cannot wait to pop these in the post...

Thanks so much for stopping by ~ remember, inky fingers = a good day!

  1. Such a pretty card! Love your idea of hanging flowers. Thanks so much for joining the PPA challenge this week!

  2. I love your row of flowers! And I adore the way you have added the flower on top of the stem. Adorable card. Thenks for playing with us at PPA this week.

  3. Well, all the experimenting was worth the result. It is odd how often we start with one thing and end up somewhere else -glad it's not just me. :-) It's a cute way to use that set of stamps and a lovely interpretation of this week's sketch. Thanks so much for joining us this week at As You See It.

  4. Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at AYSI, good luck!!! Amy DT

  5. In all the times I've seen Flower Patch used, I've never seen them used this way for sunflowers! I love how your design ended up! Thanks for contributing to our gallery at As You See It Challenges!

  6. I have to ditto Heather Cooper's comments! I think this card is adorable! You cannot go wrong with a sunflower in my opinion! Thanks for playing along with As You See It!
