With Love

Today I dug through a bunch of stamp sets I've
gotten from my Paper Pumpkin kits.
I have no idea which one this was from; however, the sentiment was exactly what I wanted:  With Love.
I created the one-layer card with masking - I love
using large Post-It Notes.  After the edges
were masked, the hearts were punched out,
again using the Post-It Notes.
This quick and simple technique was so easy,
I had three cards in no time.
(More to send out and share with others!)  I would have had a fourth, but somehow I ended up dragging my finger through the black ink and smudged the first card (oops!).
I'm entering three fabulous challenges with these cards:  CASology, Freshly Made Sketches, and Colour Me...!

I extended my fun by creating envelope liners.  Love the look.
Thanks for stopping by ~ hope you have a inky day!
With love,

  5. This is almost an optical illusion - my eyes keep focusing on the shapes of the colours rather than the white hearts! Love that clever effect! So glad you joined us at CASology this week, Julia!

  8. Julia, I absolutely love designs that you can recreate quickly and simply to create multiples. I also love 'enhancing the negative', particularly when done in such a clever way. This is such a lovely interpretation of the cue. Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!

  10. Oooo! I've never seen those big post-its. I always use a million normal size ones to achieve my goal. LOL! Note to self: Look for big post-its ;). TFS! And what a beautiful card! I just adore that inked strip! So fun! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Colour Me...!
