Love that Trick or Treat Using Project Life

If you think Project Life is just for memory keeping or
scrapbooking, then I've got a surprise for you!
See how the card sets that quickly slip into the
Project Life Photo Pocket Pages also make great
layers for cards and other paper crafting projects?
This card came together quick as a wink with
all my Project Life goodies!
I just love this pop-up card!
Oh, and I haven't even touched on the sticker
sheets (including letters) and sequins in a variety of colors and shapes
that make great accents on cards and gift items - you can see
all the goodies that came with my Project Life Accessory Pack.

Halloween Happiness - AAA Cards

When is Trick-or-Treating in your neighborhood?
Do they even do that where you live?
Ours was last night.

And speaking of Halloween, we're looking
forward to fun Halloween
cards this week at AAA Cards:
I kept my card very CAS (Clean and Simple) this week
with a bit of the Emboss Resist Technique.

That's the name of the game this week at AAA Card - CAS Halloween!
Only about 20 or so kids came to our porch where our younger
son sat with his girlfriend and handed out candy,
as well as little toy mice, skeletons, bugs, spiders,
stuff like that for those who wanted something different
or can't have the candy due to allergies.

Hope your Halloween goes well ~ looking forward to seeing your
CAS creations linked up to AAA Cards this week!

Sympathy Card - Freshly Made Sketches

Carpe Diem!
It's important to make every day count, you know?
Tonight I'll be headed out to support a very dear friend whose
husband has passed.
I made her a card last night, and I'll be giving her
a packet of thank-yous for her to use.

I followed the fabulous sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge:
Loved this layout - it was instant inspiration.

a great loss.
Hope you make today

Inspired Halloween - Count Dracula!

I've never made a Count Dracula card before
- so I decided it was time to give it a try . . .
Count's face was spritzed with some Vanilla Smooch,
so he's feeling very sparkly.  As you can see, he's also popped up
from a layered background with Dimensionals.

And he was a lot of fun to create - I just had the idea
in my head and took it from there.

Using lots of punches, Paper Snips, and the Top Note die from Stampin'
Up!, my little guy came together easily.
He's just in time for the AAA Cards latest challenge
 - it's an All Styles Event (not just CAS).

Be sure to join in - I cannot wait to visit all the
blogs and see what you have to offer this week.

Autumn Colors - AAA Cards

Autumn, fall colors - nothing like it when you live
in northeast Ohio.  The greens, yellows, oranges
and reds - just beautiful!

That's what I was thinking about when I
made this card . . .
I also wanted something that was a CAS one-layer card since
I'm making 25 of these.
I'm the crafter/vendor coordinator for
our church's craft and vendor
bazaar and I want to send thank yous to the participants
and remind them
 of set up times, etc.

The AAA Cards Challlenge is all about autumn colors this week.
Such a beautiful bunch or colors to choose to use!
I cannot wait to see what you come up with.

Yippee Skippee, Draw the Line and Watercoloring

So many techniques - so little time . . . LOL!  I just love to watercolor.
I've taught five very filled-up classes on just watercoloring.
So I was excited to have a little fun coloring for this
week's AAA Challenge where we "play"
with Watercolor Techniques.
This week, I used an Aqua Painter and "painted" my stamped image
from the Draw The Line stamp set (#132659) using my ink pads in Cajun Craze,
Always Artichoke, and Perfect Plum.
The sentiment is from the Yippee-Skippee! stamp set (#131344) and
was colored in a bit with a Cajun Craze marker - whoo, boy!  I could sure
tell that I needed my up-close glasses to do that one!!!  LOL!
Unfortunately, my glasses are at the eye doctor getting updated and
they're taking a super long time to update them,
too!  It's been over two weeks and no sign of my glasses anywhere.
That's why I've gone to Lenscrafters in the past and will probably go there
next time, too.  Anyway, I digress . . .
Please be sure to join us for this challenge at AAA Cards.
It's fun and CAS, so you know it'll be quick and clean.

I can't wait to visit your blogs and see what you've done!
See you soon!
