Loving Unscripted Bosses Day

Today is Bosses Day.  Did you know that?

Do you have a boss, or do you say something like, "No one is the boss of me!"?  LOL!!

Well, at the law firm, I have two of them (bosses, that is), and three if you count the Office Manager.

For one of my bosses, I made this card:
and I created it using the latest Unscripted Sketches Challenge.  I just laid it on its side.
I think the card I came up with is rather manly, don't you?

Let's hope he thinks so, too.
Here's a better view of the watch.

I used the Clockworks stamp set, along with the Harvest of Thanks and the Gorgeous Grunge.  Early Espresso ink was used on the Early Espresso card stock base, with Cajun Craze ink used on the Cajun Craze card stock overlay.  The Harvest of Thanks (#131837) stamp of Many Thanks was stamped with Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake card stock and then die cut with the Apothocary Accents Framelits using the Big Shot.  The clock was stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock using Crumb Cake ink and framed with a bit of Early Espresso.  The cogs were stamped with Cajun Craze onto the Crumb Cake card stock and punched out with the 1/2" Circle Punch.  Regals Candy Dots were placed in the centers.

Now to go get his pastry present!!

Hope you have a wonderful day - and be sure to check out the other great cards on the Unscripted Sketches challenge.

  3. Really? There's such things as bosses day?! Your bosses are lucky indeed! That's a very manly card. Love the strong bold colours.

    1. Oh, I'm so glad you think it's a manly card. It's so hard to tell. I really appreciate your comment. There really is such a thing as bosses day. While all the secretaries in the office seemed to know it, as well as the other support staff, neither of my bosses seemed aware and both asked why in the world I had given them wrapped-up cinnamon rolls and cards! They both liked it though and thanked me.
