Perfectly Penned - Thank You

How can you have a Perfectly Penned Thank You card?  By using the Perfectly Penned stamp set, of course!

The stamp set has some useful sentiments written in a beautiful script that I reach for again and again.

For the Mojo Monday Challenge, you can see how it was used with Elegant Eggplant ink on this card .. . 

The Scallop Circle Framelit was the perfect size for this card cut out of Bermuda Bay card stock.  Pear Pizzazz was lined up next, with Whisper White following for the center.

The Oval framelits were used to frame the sentiment in Whisper White, and then this was inked with VersaMark Ink, covered with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and then heat embossed.  The next oval layer was created with the Bermuda Bay that was sponged around the edges with Bermuda Bay ink.

To create the flower, I used the Calypso Coral card stock punched out with the Posy punch five times.  The punched images were then lined up and a 1/8" mini brad was put through the center of all the layers.  I spritzed the card stock layers with water and then crumpled them, creating my flower.  After the flower was dry, I put a bit of Calypso Coral ink around the edges, finishing off the flowers with a bit of 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds.  The leaves and flower were adhered with mini glue dots.

The leaves for the flower were punched from the extra-large bird punch out of Pear Pizzazz and sponged wit Pear Pizzazz ink.  The ribbon is the 1/4" Taffeta Bermuda Bay.  

The color choices for this beauty was inspired by the ColourQ Challenge for this week.  What a great choice of colors.  I never would have come up with this combination.  So glad they did!  Lots of fun!!
