What a beautiful card, made with the fabulous background stamp "Swallowtail" (#131943 wood, #129216 clear).

- Ink Swallowtail stamp with VersaMark ink (#102283) . Stamp onto Designer Series Paper -- I used Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper (#130131) .
- Cover stamped image generously with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) . Tap off excess.
- Heat emboss with the Heat Tool (#129053). The powder will change from semi-white powder to shiny when it is melted.
- The clear embossing can be difficult to see on patterned paper. If needed, tip the paper towards a light to see better.
- Ink a Sponge Dauber (#102892) with Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969).
- Rub over embossed image in small circular motions. Start at center of image and work towards edges. Sponge off the edge of embossed image a bit to create a “glow” or border around it.
- The embossed areas will resist the ink and the Designer Series Paper color and patterns will show through.
- Wipe off excess ink from embossed area with a tissue or paper towel.
What an easy technique and fun way to use that DSP!
