Mini Cards - Maxi Fun

At our group get-together this month, we made these fantastic little cards. I've been making more of them ever since -- thanks, Laura!

Every single card has a matching envelope -- so cute!

I guess Shelli (the CEO of Stampin' Up! did a demo of these cards during the Alaska cruise this last year.
The cards use the Postage Punch. I really like that punch because of the shape and cool design around the edges.

This one was my favorite. I've made a whole mess of these since the group get-together.

May your day be full of favorites! Happy Stampin' and Scrappin'!

Counting Down the Days

At our last Stamper's Club, we made these great calendars. I really wanted one for November and December of 2011, too, so we did a couple of extra calendar pages and that way, I had a current calendar for my desk at work. I had to take the "November" off a couple of days ago, and I still really love this calendar. So cute. So easy. Love it! It was the first time we'd used the Beveled Windowpanes -- and they are so cool!!

Adding detailed embellishments to cards, scrapbook pages and décor items is all the rage in the crafting world. But having the right embellishment for every type of project has been a challenge for crafters. As you can see here -- I’ve got a solution that is a clear winner . . . Beveled Windowpanes! These clear acrylic frames make it as easy as 1-2-3 to create custom embellishments that coordinate with any style or color.

1- Create a focal point by stamping an image that coordinates with your project or select a scrap or two of coordinating Designer Series Paper. Also try these stamp sets designed to fit the Beveled Windowpanes: Clearly for You (#121911 wood-mount, #121976 clear-mount), Charming (#116519 wood-mount, #125829 clear-mount), Tiny Tags (#118091 wood-mount, 118592 clear-mount) or a variety of alphabet stamps.

2- Layer the focal point onto card stock or Designer Series Paper and place behind a Windowpane.

3- Thread coordinating ribbon thorough the slots on the Windowpane and you have your color coordinated custom embellishment!

You’ll have a blast creating your custom embellishments. Once you get started, you’ll be adding them to all your cards, décor items and scrapbook pages. You can even use them to make custom jewelry. Order your Beveled Windowpanes today and start creating your own miniature masterpieces!

Tip:
The 3/8” Taffeta ribbon is the ideal size for use with the Beveled Windowpanes.
